The Pagan path or as I like to call it, the Goddess Lifestyle, is a pathway to feminine empowerment. There are loads of misconceptions out there about what being a Pagan means, including devil worship, being a heathen, or having ‘new age’ beliefs….. As a side note, heathen is such a terrible sounding word!
Contrary to common belief, Pagan practice is not ‘new age’. Pagan traditions actually pre-date modern religions. When you dig deeper, the key dates for Pagan Celebrations actually align with major Christian festivals. You can read more about that here if it takes your fancy.
The Goddess Lifestyle that I talk about on Parties, Pearls and Being Precious does not require you to be Pagan, Wiccan, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, a Hippy, Vegan or anything in-between.
What will the new ‘Goddess Lifestyle’ blog posts focus on?
I’ll be sharing my knowledge of crystals, divination, herbology, manifestation, meditation and Pagan Celebrations with you through weekly posts. In some cases we’ll be learning together. I’m a big believer in collective learning experiences and it’s simply impossible for one person to know all there is to know about any given topic!
As mentioned in my last post, it’s a shift away from what this blog has focused on in the past. My beliefs and lifestyle were always present but I’d chosen not to make them explicit. I did that because I wanted to appeal to a larger target audience, which I now realise was a mistake. It was a mistake because I wasn’t being 100% authentic, which is an insult to my readers.
What if the Goddess Lifestyle isn’t for you?
If it’s the old content you’re interested in please feel free to unsubscribe from my mailing list or click ‘unlike’ on your social media accounts. I promise not to be offended!
The older content is still available and you can access it here. You can be sure I’ll still be sharing fashion and beauty related things on my Instagram and Facebook accounts. Fortunately, being pagan doesn’t mean I have to ditch my shoe collection and shun my sartorial addiction. Having said that, if you’re chasing a blog that focuses on those things, I’d recommend Sublime Finds or Fellowsophy.
One thing that will not change (ever) is the feminist vibe that runs through this blog. I am and will always be a feminist, and living a Goddess Lifestyle complements that belief.
Until this time next week, blessed be.
