An affirmation is a declaration of truth. A truthful statement declared out loud. When done correctly the practice of daily positive affirmations can be empowering and fulfilling.
How to Use Daily Affirmation
Positive affirmations are carefully chosen statements that are read out loud on a regular basis. If talking to yourself out loud isn’t your thing, you could also try writing them done on a regular basis.
An affirmation should represent your desired future state. But you say them as if they are already your current state. For example, if you want to pay off your debt, you could use “I am free of all debt and abundance flows freely into my life”.
So they should be present tense, positive and suitable for your personal situation.
